We have been made aware of offensive behaviour by a small number of our younger fans at recent matches. This week, we received a repair bill from Alloa for broken seats in the stand occupied by Stirling supporters at Tuesday night’s match and we’ve had complaints from Morrisons supermarket about fighting in the store after the Ayr United Viaplay cup game on Saturday. This behaviour is simply not acceptable. It brings the name of the club into disrepute and casts a slur on the reputation of the vast majority of Stirling Albion fans of all ages who rightly condemn such behaviour.

We are happy to have our younger supporters coming along to support the team but we have a duty to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the match in a safe and welcoming environment. So the type of behaviour we have seen over the last two games must stop.

If not, anyone found guilty of such behaviour will be dealt with in the strongest possible fashion, including lengthy banning orders if required.  Any incidents involving criminal damage will be reported to the Police.

We would ask all our decent supporters to report any such behaviour to stewards or club officials so that they can be thoroughly investigated.

We are starting off a new season in League One and do not wish the excitement and optimism of the forthcoming campaign to be jeopardised by people who should know better.
