Stirling Albion faced a goalless draw against Queen of the South at Forthbank.
Darren Young made one change to the starting line-up from last week’s loss against Kelty Hearts, with Dale Carrick being reintroduced to the side, replacing Rudi Molotnikov.
Stirling raced up the pitch within a minute of the game kicking off, with Kieran Offord firing at goal with his effort going wide.
Kyle Docherty had the visitors first chance of the game with 10 minutes on the clock, his effort rolled along the pitch and was collected by Mark Weir comfortably.
Alexander Ferguson hit a powerful shot at the Binos net looking to get the opening goal of the game from just outside the box, but his shot was saved well again by Mark Weir.
Queens had the next chance of the game shortly after through Kyle Doherty, who was found free on the left side of the Binos box, but his shot rocketed over the bar.
The Binos had their first real chance of the game in the 36th minute, as Josh McPake made a tremendous run down the left flank and got the ball into the Queens danger area finding Kieran Offord. However, his shot would be saved well by Harry Stone and tipped over the bar.
Offord would have another attempt a few minutes later, as he ran up the middle of the pitch. His effort was fired right at Harry Stone for him to easily collect in the middle of the goal.

Another great cross in from Josh McPake into the Queens box was so close to being put into the net by Dale Carrick, but there was just too much power on the end of it and it went past him.
Queens retaliated a minute later as they launched a dangerous attack. Lewis Gibson found himself on the edge of the Binos box, but went for power rather than accuracy, and fired the ball well over the bar.
Dale Carrick won the ball cleverly in the middle of the pitch and found a pocket of space to pass the ball out wide to Josh McPake. He then ran inside the box and took an attempt at goal, but it was fired high over the bar.
Kieran Offord forced Harry Stone into a great reactionary save as his quick shot from just inside the box swept through the Queens defence and was parried around the post for a corner.
Mark Weir was called into action to save a shot from Alexander Ferguson as midfielders dropped inside and had a shot from just outside the Albion area. The shot was right down the throat of goal and Mark Weir done well to plant himself still and save it.
A great bit of link up play from the Stirling attack meant that Dale Hilson was found in front of the Queens net just yards away from the goal line. In his attempt to chip the ball over the keeper, a last-ditch tackle kept the score level.
Hilson had another great opportunity to grab the winner, the ball landed to him 12 feet out, but his volley was fired over the goal, as the game ended in a stalemate between the sides.
