Stirling Albion Supporters Trust (SAST) and Stirling Albion FC (SAFC) are looking for expressions of interest from suitably skilled individuals to become members of SAFC Board.

Background

SAST are owners and SAFC are operators of the football club. Following a period of uncertainty and change, the SAST Board and SAFC have been through a robust process of analysis of community owned football clubs. Following analysis, discussion, and a final report, the two organisations agreed to implement the report recommendations.

The two organisations have recently concluded an action within the recommendations and signed a legally binding Working Together Agreement (WTA) that lays out the responsibilities of each organisation and the roles they will play in the future development of Stirling Albion as a community-owned football club.

SAST and SAFC are now implementing the recommendation that a new club board be put in place at SAFC. They have identified through the initial report positions that would benefit from expertise, skills and knowledge for these key positions. Commitment will be monthly board meetings and time required to undertake tasks on behalf of the football club board. Director roles within the football club are voluntary positions.

Application

Interested parties that would like to find out more or express an interest, should contact the office (office@stirlingalbionfc.co.uk). They will be put in touch with a member of the selection panel for an informal discussion regarding the roles being sought.
