Following a very successful Auction, the Steering Group and Ross would like to extend sincere thanks to everyone who made the Auction possible. To those who donated items, those who made generous bids, and those who gave of their time to set it up, a huge thank you. It was an event with a difference and caused quite a bit of interest.

Interestingly, a few of the items were purchased by “Long Distance” Albion fans.

Steve Kennedy even sent a photograph – He said “I have been an Albion fan since the early seventies, since Bert McKinley and Bryce Morgan took me under their wing. I lived in a home in the Cornton, and some-one introduced me to them. I travelled all over Scotland on the Supporters bus for free thanks to those two great men. I was a ball boy for a few seasons at Annfield. I moved to Manchester in 1980. I am the one in the middle with the scarf on. I went for trials when Alex smith was in charge, but he did not sign me unfortunately.”

What a lovely story and once again demonstrates the kindness of Bert and Brycie.

Anyone else recognise themselves in the picture?
