Stirling Albion Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of two new directors to the Board.

Brian Hamilton has been appointed as Football Operations Director. Brian’s remit will be to oversee and develop all football operations, including ensuring the best structure and roles are in place to support the 1st team management and help maximise the performance of the 1st team.

Brian is an ex-professional footballer who made over 500 appearances for St Mirren, Hibs and Hearts amongst others. He was in teams which won the Scottish Cup, League Cup, Challenge Cup, League 1 and League 2 and he represented Scotland at U19 and U21 level. After his playing career he had spells working with the SFA, Cowdenbeath, Alloa, Stenhousemuir and Partick Thistle football clubs. Brian is a director of SGS Group which specialises in sports facilities construction and maintenance. Brian brings a vast experience on football matters with a special interest in youth development.

Jim McAllister has been appointed as Community Engagement Director and will also be one of the Stirling Albion Supporters’ Trust representatives on the Board. Jim will be responsible for helping to drive community projects for Stirling Albion and will sit on the Stirling Albion Foundation board as a Trustee.

Jim is well known within Stirling Albion having been involved in the junior academy for many years and currently serving as the Club’s Child Well-being and Protection Officer. Jim has been a serving member of the Board this season and has taken an active role in the work that has been done to move the club forward.
