Stirling Albion is delighted to announce that manager, Darren Young, has signed a contract extension with the club until May 2026.

After his appointment as manager in December 2021, Darren led Stirling Albion to the cinch League Two title in the 2022-23 season, finishing 11 points clear at the top of the table. Currently, in our cinch League One campaign, the team are in 8th place, 9 points ahead of 9th-placed Annan, and just 4 points shy of a promotion playoff spot.

Darren’s management of the team and dedication to the club has brought us great success. The club are delighted that Darren has decided to put pen to paper on a contract lasting until May 2026 and we are excited to see where he can take the club in the future.

Darren Young also shared his excitement about extending his contract with the club, stating: “I am absolutely delighted to have signed a new contract. It’s been a great couple of years and I’m looking forward to helping the club continue to grow on and off the park. I just want to thank all my backroom staff, the players, the board, the general manager and all the fans for their amazing support since I have joined the club.”
