Stirling Albion are delighted to announce the signing of striker Dylan Nguene Bikey for the remainder of season 2019/20.

The 24-year-old scored nine goals in nine matches in the winter of 2016/17 before earning a move to Hearts and added another goal later that season when he returned on loan from Tynecastle.

Club Chairman Stuart Brown said: “I’ve kept in touch with Dylan since his departure at the end of season 16/17 and my regular urgings to him to come back to Scotland (or more specifically Stirling!) came to fruition when Dylan contacted me to express an interest in coming ‘home’ (his words, not mine!).

“With the full support of the Club Board and Kevin Rutkiewicz, we arranged for Dylan to come over last week to undergo a medical, train with the squad and play in a bounce game on the Wednesday. With Kevin’s approval, and confirmation of Dylan’s fitness, discussions on agreeing contract terms were undertaken and successfully concluded.

“Dylan has now arrived back in Scotland and is raring to get started. A note of caution, however, for this weekend; we need to get International Clearance before Dylan can be registered with Stirling Albion and we are in the hands of his former club (JA Drancy) and the French FA in order for that to happen. Needless to say, we will do everything possible at this end to ensure Dylan is available for selection.”

Manager Kevin Rutkiewicz said: “I am well aware of the impact Dylan made when was previously at the club, both in terms of his pace and his goalscoring ability. He is a fans’ favourite and I’m delighted to get him on board – hopefully he can show that kind of form again and help us start climbing the table.”
