Today I am heartbroken at the passing of fellow Club Board member and close friend, Rod Turnbull.
Rod had courageously fought lung cancer for a number of years but this morning he lost his battle.
Rod and I started Primary One together in 1958 and soon after started our lifelong love affair with Stirling Albion.
His contribution to the Club Board and the personal support he gave me during difficult times were both invaluable and immeasurable.
I will provide a more fitting tribute to Rod in due course but for now, on behalf of the Club Board, I extend my sympathies to his wife, Nancy and the rest of his family. Our thoughts are with them all.
