While plans continue to be formalised for the return of senior football, our Youth Academy is also tentatively planning for their return to action.

Our 2005 and 2003/04 squads are both in place with a full complement of players, all of whom have begun remote training programs to prepare for a pre-season to begin at some point (hopefully soon!)

The club are unclear as to when Academy matches will get the green light to recommence but, with the forthcoming relaxation in youth sport restrictions, the Youth Academy wants to reassure all Binos that plans are in place for our players to be fully prepared for their to return to football.

While great uncertainty surrounds much of football in Scotland, with many Youth Academies feeling the pressure, it is great news to know that Stirling Albion has seen three of last year’s young players move on to the radar of the first-team manager and for two squads to be getting the full backing of the Club for the 2020-21 campaign. This will ensure the future talent at Forthbank will continue to come through the line.

More updates on the progress of our young players will be posted in the coming weeks.
