The departure of our Manager has been dealt with elsewhere on this website.
I would like to use this platform to say that Kevin has my personal very best wishes for whatever the next phase in his life holds.

The Club Board met this morning to start the process of finding a replacement. We would hope to complete the process sooner rather than later, but we will be diligent in our quest to find the right replacement.

It will not have escaped your notice that we have been drawn away to Rangers in the next round of the Scottish Football Association Challenge Cup (that’s the “Scottish Cup” to you and me).
We are in conversation with Rangers about ticketing arrangements. So far, we can say that we will receive an allocation of 918 tickets. Pricing is yet to be agreed, and we will be deciding on purchasing arrangements in due course. Season Ticket holders will, of course, have first priority.
Recognising that not all regular attendees are Season Ticket holders, there will be tokens distributed to all who attend the next three Home matches at Forthbank. The opportunity to buy a ticket for the Cup match at Ibrox will be afforded to 3-token holders in the first instance, 2-token holders in the second and 1-token holders in the third. Only when all of our hierarchy of sales priorities been addressed will come the opportunity of a Public Sale.
More info when we have it.

Following agreement between both clubs, our Yuletide-scheduled match on Boxing Day against Elgin City has been (thankfully, some might say) moved to the previous Tuesday evening, 21 December at 19:45 kick off.

Despite yesterday’s disappointing outcome at Forfar, it was heartening to see a decent number of our fans had made the journey. On a bleak, driech, dismal afternoon, weatherwise, it was also good to hear 1945 Crew supporting the team in their own inimitable fashion!

Finally, in the coming days, the Club will be working alongside Start Up Stirling delivering this year’s “Festive Friends” project.

If you would like to respond to anything I have raised here, or ask a question, or vent, or whatever, please email me at jd@stirlingalbionfc.co.uk.
