Stirling Albion head for Stair Park on Saturday to play Stranraer in cinch League 2.

It’s the first of three successive away games for the Binos – we face Rangers in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox next Friday and travel to Galabank to take on Annan Athletic on Saturday January 29.

We were 3-0 winners on our last visit to Stranraer in August but Jamie Hamill’s men earned a 1-1 draw at Forthbank in October.

Both teams go into the game on the back of defeats last weekend – we went down 3-0 at home to leaders Kelty Hearts and the Blues were beaten 3-2 by Forfar Athletic at Station Park. We are sixth in the table, two points outside the play-offs and one point ahead of Stranraer.

Former Falkirk striker Akeel Francis could make his debut after becoming Darren Young’s second signing of the window but Dylan Bikey has left the club to return to France.

Admission is pay at the gate – £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for U16s.

The referee for Saturday’s game is Chris Fordyce. Kick-off is the usual 3.00pm.
