We host Queen’s Park at Forthbank on Saturday in a big game in the play-off race – we go into the match on the back of four wins in five.

Team news: Former Queen’s Park keeper Owen Stott this week signed a deal until the end of the season after three games on the bench as a trialist. Goalkeepers Blair Currie and Cammy Binnie remain out, along with left-back Jordan Lowdon and the game may come too soon for midfielder Kevin Nicoll. Josh Peters and Paul Willis could be involved in the squad after scoring in a midweek friendly win over Dundee.

Opponents: Queen’s Park are below us only on goal difference and have picked up 10 points out of 12 since Ray McKinnon replaced Mark Roberts as manager at the beginning of last month. The Spiders have signed several new players since turning professional and this week brought in goalkeeper Cammy Bell, who recently left Falkirk, and midfielder Adam King on loan from Dundee United.

Past meetings: Queen’s Park won 1-0 at Forthbank on the opening day of the season and it ended 1-1 at Hampden in December.
