Stirling Albion return to action in the second round of the William Hill Scottish Cup on Saturday when Queen’s Park are the visitors to Forthbank.

Team news: Darren Barr remains in interim charge of the team, assisted by Mark Stewart and Peter MacDonald. Midfielder Willie Robertson and forward Kevin Fell have both left the club since our last game a fortnight ago and a number of others are again likely to be sidelined through injury.

Form: We have lost three games in a row since beating Queen’s Park 1-0 at Forthbank on September 15 with a goal from Ross McGeachie.

Replay details: If the game ends in a draw, the teams will try again at Hampden Park on Tuesday October 30.

Third-round draw: It will be made at Hampden at 5.45pm on Saturday and covered on the Scottish FA’s social media channels. Ties are scheduled for Saturday November 24.

Past Scottish Cup meetings: This is only the third Scottish Cup meeting between the teams. We were 3-1 winners at Annfield in 1965/66 and won by the same score at Forthbank in 2003/04.

Opponents: Queen’s Park last week named Mark Roberts as their new manager and beat St Mirren Colts 4-2 in the IRN-BRU Cup on Saturday to set up a Hampden quarter-final with Connah’s Quay Nomads. The Spiders beat Clyde 1-0 in their most recent League 2 game.
