It’s our final home game of 2019 on Saturday when we welcome Edinburgh City to Forthbank.

Team news: James Creaney is suspended after being sent off in last week’s 1-1 draw at Hampden and fellow left-back Jordan Lowdon is a long-term absentee following knee surgery. Goalkeeper Blair Currie is sidelined after picking up a muscle injury against Queen’s Park so Cammy Binnie is set to start and we are likely to have a trialist on the bench as back-up. City have also had goalkeeping problems and fielded a trialist last week, with Calum Antell and Aidan McAdams ruled out.

Opponents: Edinburgh City are second in the table, two points behind Cove Rangers. James McDonaugh’s men ended Annan’s 12-month unbeaten home record with a 2-0 win at Galabank last week and beat Cove 2-1 at Ainslie Park the previous weekend.

Past meetings: Edinburgh won 1-0 at Ainslie Park in August with a Robbie McIntyre goal. It was 0-0 at Forthbank on the final day of last season while City won the other game in Stirling last season 1-0.
