Match programme: We have produced a printed programme for this game. It can be ordered online HERE. The cost is £3.50 including P&P.

Team news: Midfielder Dom Docherty is suspended after picking up two yellow cards in the group stage last season. Goalkeeper Blair Currie and defender Ross McGeachie are set to miss out through injury.

Our visitors: Dick Campbell’s side were excellent in the Championship last season and finished in fifth place. The Red Lichties have brought in six new players – James Craigen (AFC Fylde), Scott Gallacher (Airdrieonians), Kris Doolan (Morton), Miko Virtanen (Aberdeen, loan), Michael Ruth (Aberdeen, loan), Connor Smith (Heart of Midlothian, loan).

Recent games: Arbroath saw off Formartine United 4-0 in a friendly at Gayfield on Friday night and also beat Brechin City and Forfar in earlier warm-up matches. We drew 0-0 with Dunfermline at Alloa on Friday, having last month beaten Ayr United and lost to Clyde.

Substitutes: Five subs can be used in this season’s Betfred Cup, with up to nine listed on the teamsheet.

In the event of a draw: A reminder that all drawn group games go straight to penalties, with the shoot-out winners earning a bonus point.

Also in Group D: Montrose host Ross County on Wednesday. Elgin City sit out matchday one. We head for Borough Briggs on matchday two this Saturday.

Last meeting: Arbroath won 6-1 on their most recent visit to Forthbank in July 2019.
