Stirling Albion are delighted to announce the signing of winger Josh McPake until the end of the season.

A product of the Rangers Academy, and the 2018-19 Rangers Academy Player of the Year, Josh brings a wealth of experience to the Binos from his time both in Scotland and England.

McPake spent his formative years in the Rangers academy before moving on loan to Dundee, where he made 7 appearances for the club. He then moved on loan to Greenock Morton, making 6 appearances for the ‘Ton.

McPake found more regular playing time in England, being loaned out to Harrogate Town in 2021, scoring 4 goals in 23 appearances.

McPake had further loans in England at Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers before moving back to Scotland on loan to Queen’s Park, scoring 3 goals in 27 appearances.

At the international level, the 22-year-old has represented Scotland at Under-17, Under-18, and Under-19 levels.

Manager Darren Young commented on the new signing: “We are delighted to get Josh on board. He’s a quality player who will come in and improve the squad.

“I’m confident he can create, score goals and will hopefully bring us that cutting edge that we have been lacking in the final third.”
