Goals:

Stenhousemuir – Cummins (OG) 10’ Orr 21’ Christie 35’

Stirling Albion – Bikey 59′

In the middle of the Binos defence was McGregor and Cummins with McGeachie and McNiff playing right back and left back respectively.

The attack was made up of Mackin up top and Scally and Bikey on the wings.

Coming off the back of a draw with league leaders Kelty Hearts, Stirling Albion seemed confident going into this match but unfortunately things did not go their way.

Within 10 minutes of the match the Binos were already down 0-1 after an unlucky own goal.

The next ten minutes saw a handful of chances for Stenhousemuir to score again and Kurtis Roberts also had an attempt on target for Stirling.

In the end, Stenhousemuir netted another goal in the 21st minute. Six minutes later, Martin McNiff had to be replaced by Leon Watson due to an injury.

Stirling Albion only had one shot on goal for the rest of the half and within 35 minutes it was 3-0 to Stenhousemuir after a right footed shot from Darren Christie.

Dylan Bikey was able to pull one back for the Stirling club after being set up by Scally in the 59th minute and finishing with a well struck volley.

This proved to be insufficient as the Binos only had a couple more chances on goal for the rest of the half.

It was a disappointing and frustrating day for Stirling Albion but they will look to bounce back on Saturday versus Albion Rovers.
