We are delighted to announce that Sean Heaver has signed his first professional contract until the end of the season, having initially joined us on an amateur basis.

The 27-year-old forward was a youth player with Stirling Albion more than a decade ago and returned to Forthbank from Bannockburn Amateurs in the summer. Sean had to bide his time this season but has made a big impact in recent weeks and is our joint-top scorer with four goals.

Chairman Stuart Brown said: “On the back of establishing himself in the starting XI with a series of impressive performances, I am delighted to announce that Sean has accepted our offer of a professional contract and that the paperwork has been duly completed this evening. I am delighted to know that Sean is committed to SAFC for (at least!) the remainder of this season.”

Manager Kevin Rutkiewicz said: “This is a well-deserved reward for Sean, who has worked extremely hard to get, and take, the opportunity before him. He has shown a confidence and ability to both score and set up goals and has become a real fans’ favourite in a short time.”
