Stirling Albion are aiming to make it five games without defeat when we play Queen’s Park at Hampden on Saturday…

Team news: Defender Lee Hamilton – whose last appearance was at Elgin on September 1 – remains on the sidelines with a foot injury. Mark Stewart is also still out, having not played since the Scottish Cup defeat to Queen’s Park.

Recent meetings: Stirling won 1-0 at Forthbank in the first league meeting this season thanks to a Ross McGeachie goal but the Spiders gained revenge with a 2-1 Scottish Cup victory the following month. This is our first visit to Hampden since a 1-1 draw in April 2016 when Steven Doris equalised after Chris Duggan opened the scoring.

Opponents: Queen’s Park are one place and four points above us in the table. They have lost just once at Hampden in Ladbrokes League 2 this season, to Edinburgh City. The Spiders have lost their last two games to Cowdenbeath and Edinburgh City but both were away from home. Their most recent League 2 match at the National Stadium was a 2-0 win over Peterhead.
