Stirling Albion can confirm that striker Peter MacDonald will not be offered a new contract and is moving on after two years at Forthbank.

The 38-year-old joined us from Clyde in the summer of 2017 and scored 11 goals in his first season before netting 10 times in 2018/19.

Binos boss Kevin Rutkiewicz said: “I’ve known Peter for a long time and this wasn’t an easy decision because he has been a good player for Stirling Albion. He intends to keep playing – we wish him the very best and thank him for all his efforts and some memorable goals during his time at Forthbank.”
