We are delighted to announce that defender Adam Cummins is our fourth new signing for the 2021/22 season.

The 28-year-old joins us from Stranraer, having previously had a stint on loan at Forthbank from Motherwell back in season 2014/15.

After leaving Fir Park, Adam had spells with Bangor City and Queen’s Park before moving to Stair Park in 2018 and was a regular for Stevie Farrell’s side last season.

Adam joins midfielder Ray Grant (Alloa Athletic), defender Martin McNiff (Clyde) and winger Nathan Flanagan (Annan Athletic), whose signing was announced earlier this evening, at the club for 2021/22.

Manager Kevin Rutkiewicz said: “Adam really impressed last season with his no-nonsense, aggressive approach to the game. That said, he can definitely play and I’m confident he will be a prominent figure within the squad.”

Chairman Stuart Brown added: “I am delighted that Kevin has secured the services of Adam and Nathan for next season. Both are highly regarded by their peers and I‘m sure by the supporters of the clubs they are moving from in Stranraer and Annan Athletic.

“They will undoubtedly add (further) quality to our playing squad and, on behalf of the Club Board, I extend a warm welcome to them both.”
