Stirling Albion Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Niall Marshall as the new Head of Youth Coaching.

Niall takes over from Mark Wood who has chosen to move on from SAFC after many years of committed service.

Chairman Stuart Brown said: “I’m pleased to be able to announce that we have now appointed Mark Wood’s successor – Niall Marshall. Niall was interviewed just before Christmas, and in addition to his impressive experience, he displayed an enthusiasm for the role which was very encouraging.

“Niall will, I’m sure, continue the good work done by Mark, and supplement the huge efforts of our coaches. Niall has experience in youth football and in the men’s and women’s senior game, as well as time spent working across the UK and North America. He has other relevant experience working with children, in both sport and education. Niall will be an excellent addition to our well regarded youth set-up.”

Niall Marshall commented: “I cannot wait to get started with Stirling Albion. This is a club I have had a close affinity with over the years and the opportunity to work here is very exciting. I am looking forward to building on the hard work that is already happening at the football club.

“I am passionate about youth development and I hope my enthusiasm and drive for this challenging new role will have a positive impact on the club’s future. I look forward to meeting everyone involved in Youth Development at SAFC in the near future.”
