Stirling Albion lost 2-1 to the Rangers Development team at the Hummel Training Centre on Saturday.
Dapo Mebude scored twice in the first half for the Light Blues, who included Jamie Murphy, Joe Dodoo and Graham Dorrans. Paul Willis pulled one back with a fine finish six minutes from time.
Most of the Albion squad got a run-out – James Creaney and Dylan Mackin missed out with minor knocks – and there were plenty of positives for Binos boss Kevin Rutkiewicz with just a week to go until we kick off our Betfred Cup campaign against Hibernian at Forthbank.
