If the harsh reality that the world as we know it has changed, perhaps forever, hadn’t already sunk in, then it must surely do so now? In simple terms lockdown has changed from being optional to compulsory and there can now be no doubt that football itself is of little or no consequence for the foreseeable future.

The Club Board is, however, acutely aware that we retain a duty of care to all our employees – Management, Coaches, Players and Staff – and we will continue to do everything in our power to deliver on that responsibility.

We also want to maintain contact with our Binos “Family” and our community at large, especially those living alone. If you are in that category or know someone that is, please get in touch and let us know through our e-mail address – office@stirlingalbionfc.co.uk – providing a contact number and we’ll be in touch; whether it to ensure essential supplies are delivered or just to have a chat.

One piece of good news – yesterday, we managed to get Dylan Bikey home to his family and friends in Nantes, on what might well have been the last flight for some considerable time.  Please be assured that Dylan will not be “out of sight, out of mind” to the Club.

We will continue to provide updates via the Website and Social Media.

Look after yourself, those that you care for and indeed anyone you know who would benefit from your help, as we move into uncharted territory.

Please Stay Home and Stay Safe.

Stuart

Chairman SAFC, on behalf of the Club Board
