Stirling Albion are delighted to announce the signing of striker Josh Peters from Queen’s Park.

Josh was top scorer for Forfar Athletic with 17 goals – including two against Stirling in a 4-1 win at Station Park – when they were promoted from League 2 via the play-offs in 2016/17.

The 22-year-old came to prominence as a prolific forward for Highland League side Strathspey Thistle – he then spent time in the Hibernian development team and also played for Livingston.

Binos boss Kevin Rutkiewicz said of our eighth summer signing: “Josh is someone who has been on my radar for a while. He has a pedigree in this league and was top scorer for Forfar two years ago when he was 19/20 years old.

“Josh is a player who comes alive when the ball is in the box and he knows where the back of the net is. He has turned down better money to come here – there’s a hunger from Josh to do well and this is about me and Martin Hardie getting the best out of him.”
