We are delighted to announce that midfielder Jack Leitch has become our sixth new signing of the summer.

The 25-year-old began his career with Motherwell and had a season at Airdrie before spending the last three years with Peterhead.

Jack joins fellow new recruits Declan Byrne, Kieran Moore, Kurtis Roberts, Scott Roberts and Andy Ryan at Forthbank for the 2020/21 season.

Manager Kevin Rutkiewicz said: “Jack has been one of Peterhead’s best players in recent years and scored 12 goals from midfield when they won the league two seasons ago.

“His numbers are good and we are getting a player who is very durable and with a good work rate. He is good for a goal and an assist and it has been my objective all along to add that. I feel every signing we have made has had a touch of quality about it.”

Chairman Stuart Brown added: “Welcome to Stirling Albion, Jack! Delighted to have you on board as the final piece of our jigsaw for the upcoming season’s first-team squad.

“The Club Board is delighted to have been in a position to financially support the recruitment achieved by Kevin and his management team of James Creaney, Bill Orr and David Peat. It’s been a real team effort, with no stone left unturned in ensuring every player’s stats stood up to in-depth scrutiny prior to signing.

“I can’t wait for us to get started now… it’s been a very, very long close season! We plan to get formal pre-season training underway at the beginning of September as we start preparations for the Betfred Cup and our League 2 campaign.”
