Stirling Albion head for Station Park on Saturday to play second-placed Forfar Athletic in cinch League 2.

James Creaney is in temporary charge of the team following the resignation of Kevin Rutkiewicz, who had been manager since October 2018.

We go into the match on a run of four straight league defeats but we beat the Loons 1-0 at Forthbank in September. Gary Irvine’s team won 3-2 at Albion Rovers last weekend and are unbeaten at home in the league this season, with five wins and two draws.

Defenders Martin McNiff and Paul McLean miss out through injury, as does midfielder Rabin Omar, but Ray Grant returns from suspension.

Our last league visit to Station Park was a 1-1 draw in January 2017 but we won 3-1 in a League Cup tie six months later.

Admission is pay at the gate as follows:

Stand – Adults £15, Seniors aged 65 & over £9, Under 17s £5

Terracing – Adults £14, Seniors aged 65 & over £8, Under 17s £5

The referee for Saturday’s game is Duncan Williams.
