Stirling Albion face Elgin City at Borough Briggs in matchday two of the Betfred Cup on Saturday, kick-off 3.00pm.

We go into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Arbroath on Tuesday when Andy Ryan opened his account on his debut. Montrose and Ross County drew 3-3 at Links Park in the other Group D game in midweek, with the Staggies winning the shoot-out.

Elgin are streaming the match live at a cost of £4.99 and fans are encouraged to sign up as early as possible to help with the process. You can purchase the match now – full details can be found HERE

Goalkeeper Blair Currie and defender Ross McGeachie are set to miss out through injury but midfielder Dom Docherty returns from suspension and defender Lewis Magee is added to the squad – the 20-year-old put pen to paper today after leaving Queen’s Park in the summer.

This is our first away match since March 7 – that was also at Elgin and Gavin Price’s men ran out 3-1 winners.

The referee for Saturday’s game is Dan McFarlane.
