We head north on Saturday to play Elgin City at Borough Briggs seeking a seventh straight away league win, which would equal a club record set in 1968/69.

Team news: Goalkeepers Blair Currie and Cammy Binnie and left-back Jordan Lowdon are long-term absentees. Defender Kyle Banner and striker Darryl Duffy missed the midweek draw with Stenhousemuir and manager Kevin Rutkiewicz will assess his squad ahead of the game as we prepare for the third match in a five-fixture fortnight.

Opponents: Elgin are one point above us in the race for the play-offs. City have won four of their last five matches and this is the first of three home games in a week – they host Cowdenbeath on Tuesday and Brechin next Saturday. Top scorer Shane Sutherland has scored 15 league goals, with Kane Hester on nine.

Past meetings: Josh Peters scored the only goal when we beat Elgin City 1-0 at Forthbank in September and the same player grabbed a last-minute winner in a 2-1 victory at Borough Briggs in November. Gavin Price’s men triumphed 2-1 at Forthbank in January and also beat us in the Betfred Cup in July.

Referee: David Dickinson

Admission: Adults £12, Concessions £7, U16s free. £2 upgrade to the stand

Stadium: Borough Briggs is an outstanding lower-league venue. Sit or stand and change ends at half-time. Catering usually of a high standard.
