Stirling Albion kick off the 2018/19 Ladbrokes League 2 campaign against Berwick Rangers at Shielfield on Saturday.

Team news: Midfielder Kevin Moon and defender Kyle Banner are both suspended and Darren Barr and Darren Smith remain on the injury list but Lee Hamilton is set to return to the squad.

Past meetings: We lost 1-0 on our first visit to Shielfield last season but came out on top by the same score in March when Andy Little scored the only goal in a midweek match.

Opening day: We made a winning start on the opening day 12 months ago, beating Stenhousemuir 3-2 in a thriller at Ochilview.

Opponents: Berwick boss Robbie Horn has this summer brought in Ally Adams (Musselburgh Athletic), Sean Murphy (Musselburgh Athletic), Jed Davie (Musselburgh Athletic), Daryl Healy (Selkirk) and Ross Brown (Airdrieonians). Berwick suffered four defeats out of four in the Betfred Cup, losing to Airdrie, Annan, Livingston and Hamilton Accies.
