Stirling Albion are aiming to make it six games without defeat on Saturday when we welcome Albion Rovers to Forthbank for the first time since 2014.

Team news: Defender Lee Hamilton and striker Mark Stewart remain on the sidelines. Binos boss Kevin Rutkiewicz is hoping that a number of players can shake off knocks picked up in last week’s 1-1 draw against Queen’s Park at Hampden.

Opponents: Albion Rovers are bottom of the table, with their only win so far coming against Stirling at The Reigart Stadium at the end of September. Kevin Harper has since taken charge of the Coatbridge club, who lost 4-2 away to Elgin City last weekend but drew 1-1 with Cowdenbeath earlier this month.

Past meetings: Albion Rovers won 3-0 earlier this season thanks to a double from Ryan Watters – son of Stirling legend Willie Watters – and Lewis McLear. Saturday is the first meeting at Forthbank since February 2014 when David Weatherston and Jordan White scored our goals. We are unbeaten in our last seven home games against Rovers since a 4-3 defeat in February 2003.
