** Subject to an 8.30am pitch inspection**
After two away games and a weekend off, Stirling Albion are back at Forthbank on Saturday against Elgin City as we look to make it four matches without defeat.
Team news: Manager Kevin Rutkiewicz has confirmed that defender Lee Hamilton and striker Mark Stewart are unlikely to return from injury this side of Christmas but on-loan Dundee keeper Calum Ferrie is available again after a spell on the sidelines.
Opponents: Elgin City are fifth in Ladbrokes League 2 after losing their last two games at home to Berwick Rangers and Clyde. Gavin Price’s men beat Stirling University 4-0 in the Scottish Cup at Forthbank last weekend to set up a fourth-round trip to play Hibernian at Easter Road.
Past meetings: We won 3-0 at Borough Briggs when the sides met on September 1, thanks to goals from Cammy Thomson, Peter MacDonald and Jordan Allan (penalty). We were 3-1 winners in the last Forthbank meeting in February, helped by a Darren Smith double.
