Stirling Albion boss Kevin Rutkiewicz is up against his former club Annan Athletic as we head to Galabank on Saturday looking to build on the recent win over Berwick and the draw at Clyde.

Team news: Defender Lee Hamilton is against ruled out with a foot injury and on-loan Dundee keeper Calum Ferrie is still sidelined. Midfielder Kevin Moon is a doubt after missing last week’s game against Clyde. Michael McIndoe could feature for the third time as a trialist.

Recent meetings: Annan won 2-1 at Forthbank in September thanks to an Evan Horne OG and a Tony Wallace goal before Dom Docherty pulled one back. We lost 3-1 on our last visit to Galabank in April – Neil McLaughlin scored early on but Peter Murphy’s men hit back with a Blair Henderson hat-trick. We are without a victory in the last six attempts at Galabank since winning 5-3 in the second leg of the 2013/14 play-off final.

Opponents: Annan are fourth in the table with six wins, two draws and four defeats so far. They were beaten 2-0 by Cowdenbeath at Galabank last weekend but prior to that won 1-0 at Elgin City then drew 0-0 with in-form Queen’s Park at Hampden. Tony Wallace is their leading league scorer with four goals.
