Stirling Albion make the trip to Station Park to play leaders Forfar Athletic on Saturday in the wake of a disappointing 1-1 draw with Edinburgh City at Forthbank last weekend.
Our two away league games so far have resulted in a 3-2 defeat at Annan and a 5-3 reverse at Arbroath and you have to go back to December for the last win on our travels.
Team news: Left-back Ross Forsyth is facing around four weeks on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury last week and midfielder Jack McCue (hamstring) also misses out tomorrow. Bryan Hodge (groin) is a doubt against his former club.
Opponents: Forfar Athletic finished bottom of League 1 but have made a perfect start in their quest to bounce straight back, winning all five games to open up a five-point gap. The Loons are on a run of seven straight victories when you add in the IRN-BRU Cup and they have scored at least twice in all of them. Boss Gary Bollan was this week voted League 2 Manager of the Month for August, with ex-Strathspey Thistle and Hibs striker Josh Peters named League 2 Player of the Month.
Past meetings: Robert Snodgrass was part of the last Albion team to win at Station Park, 2-0 in March 2007 thanks to goals from David O’Brien and Chris Aitken. We haven’t enjoyed much cheer since then, drawing 2-2 and losing 4-3, 2-1 then 4-0 on our most recent visit in March 2015.
