Chairman Stuart Brown said: “In appreciating that midweek winter fixtures are best described for fans as ‘challenging’ – especially when in competition with the warmth and comfort of the lounge and live Champions League football – the Club Executive have agreed to discounted pricing for adults and concessions for the Clyde match.
“Whilst we would have loved to have been able to offer bigger discounts, a couple of key factors had to be taken into account; firstly, and most importantly, our valued season ticket holders and secondly the costs involved in staging a home fixture.
“Clearly, we await the outcome of this weekend’s fixtures but, in any event, next Tuesday’s game is shaping up to be ‘huge’ for both clubs and I hope this small gesture will encourage a healthy number of home and away fans to make that extra effort to turn up and cheer on their team.”
Manager Stuart McLaren added: “I applaud the Board’s efforts in discounting the admission prices for our fixture with Clyde and it would please me greatly to see as many supporters as possible taking up the offer.
“The fans have certainly got behind the team this season and we all know how much of a lift that gives to the players on the pitch.
“This game, along with a couple of others we have in the near future, represents a terrific opportunity for us to strengthen our challenge for a play-off spot or perhaps better. I would like to thank the supporters for the significant role they have played so far and will undoubtedly play as the season progresses.”
