We play our third Ladbrokes League 2 game of the season on Saturday when Berwick Rangers come to Forthbank.
After a 1-0 home defeat to Clyde and a 1-1 draw at Annan, Stuart McLaren’s men are hoping to go one better against the Borderers this weekend.
Team news: Left-back Kevin McKinlay is suspended after being sent off at Galabank last week and midfielder Darren Lee Smith remains out with a knee injury. Berwick will be missing keeper Kevin Walker, who was red carded at East Fife last weekend.
Opponents: Berwick finished eighth in League 2 last season but reached the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup. They beat Montrose 2-1 in their opening league game of 2015/16 but lost 5-0 at Bayview last weekend. Colin Cameron’s side go to Kilmarnock in the League Cup on Tuesday, having knocked out Alloa in the first round.
Past meetings: We have won our last five home games against Berwick, although our record at Shielfield is poor during that time. The most recent Forthbank encounter was in April 2014 when David Weatherston and Sandy Cunningham gave us a dramatic 2-1 victory after the visitors – who had Paul Currie sent off before half-time – had gone ahead through Darren Lavery.
