Stirling Albion manager Greig McDonald hailed his side’s fast start as we beat Turriff United 3-0 at The Haughs on Saturday to reach the fourth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Ross Forsyth broke the deadlock in eight minutes with his first goal since scoring against Rangers in February, a Stuart Cumming own goal doubled our advantage four minutes later and Mark Ferry’s third goal of the season sealed the win in 61 minutes.
McDonald said: “Every single one of the boys were fantastic, right from the kick-off.”
Turriff co-boss Mark Simpson said: “I don’t know why we were so poor. We didn’t play anywhere near the level we can.”
