Shire visit on Saturday
League Two leaders East Stirlingshire make the short journey to Forthbank on Saturday for a top-of-the-table clash.
John Coughlin’s side finished bottom of Division Three last term but have started 2013/14 in style, shrugging off cup defeats to Formartine and Dunfermline to beat Queen’s Park 3-1 at Hampden and Elgin 3-0 at Ochilview.
Shire’s new signings include central defenders Michael Bolochoweckyj and Chris Townsley, Annan duo Michael McGowan and Jordan McKechnie and former Stenhousemuir midfielder Iain Thomson.
Albion racked up a 9-1 win at Forthbank in March but that was our only victory in four attempts against our local rivals last season.
We will be without skipper Jamie Bishop, who was sent off in the closing stages of the 2-0 win over Peterhead on Saturday.
Admission prices are £10 for adults, £7 for seniors/students and £5 for U17s. Only the West Stand will be open and Shire fans are requested to use turnstiles 3 & 4.
