Albion midfielder Mark Ferry scored 11 goals in the season just ended but is hoping to beat that tally in the coming campaign.
The ex-Raith player, who was Greig McDonald’s first signing as manager in January 2012, said: “I’d actually targeted more goals than I scored – the most I have managed in a season is 13 with a Queen’s Park a few years ago – but I had a slow start so probably can’t be too disappointed.
“With the way we finished the season, and the players we have been able to keep, we should do well next year but we need to prove that. I’m really enjoying my football, and working with the manager and Marc McCulloch, so I was pleased to sign again.
“The manager has got a good group of players together and there is an excellent team spirit. With most of the boys staying on, I imagine he will just be looking to be add two or three to maybe give us a bit of extra quality.”
