Our next game is at home to Annan Athletic on Saturday, as we seek our first win since beating Peterhead 1-0 at Forthbank on December 22.
We thrashed the Galabankies 5-1 at Forthbank on the opening day with goals from Scott Davidson, Graham Weir, Danny Ashe, Jamie Clark and Gavin Macpherson but Annan gained revenge with a 5-2 victory in November, on a day when both Sam Filler and Gary Thom were sent off.
Annan have a new manager in former Dumbarton and Albion Rovers boss Jim Chapman. He replaces Harry Cairney, who resigned recently due to work commitments.
Our visitors head north in good form, having lost just once in five games (to Rangers) under caretaker manager Euan Brydson – a sequence that included their first away win of the season, 3-2 at Clyde.
We lost our last home game 3-2 to Queen’s Park and find ourselves four points adrift at the foot of the table while Annan are in sixth place but only three points away from the play-offs.
Prices for Saturday’s game are £10 for adults, £7 for seniors/students and £5 for U17s. Only the West Stand will be open and Annan fans are requested to use turnstiles 3 & 4.
