We return to action this Tuesday, October 29, when Cowdenbeath visit Forthbank for a fixture postponed on Saturday due to their Scottish Cup commitments. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Team news: Strikers Josh Peters, Dylan Mackin and Dylan Bikey remain on the sidelines, along with left-back Jordan Lowdon and centre-half Gareth Rodger. Right-back Craig Truesdale has also picked up an injury but winger Fraser Scott has returned to training.

Stirling Albion: Our most recent match was the 2-0 Scottish Cup win over Strathspey Thistle at Forthbank on October 19 when Sean Heaver scored twice but we have not played in League 2 since the 1-1 draw at Brechin on October 5. We go into the Cowdenbeath match on a run of five games without defeat.

Cowdenbeath: Gary Bollan’s men were beaten 3-0 by East of Scotland League side Broxburn Athletic in their Scottish Cup round two replay on Saturday after a 1-1 draw at Central Park the previous week. The Blue Brazil have been in superb form in League 2, winning six games on the trot to move to within a point of leaders Cove Rangers.

Past meetings: Kris Renton scored the only goal at Central Park in August and we had Kyle Banner sent off. In fact, the last five meetings have all produced a red card. The four League 2 encounters last season saw Stirling and Cowdenbeath both win twice.
