With heavy rain forecast, Saturday’s game against Cove Rangers at Forthbank is subject to a 10.30am pitch inspection.

Team news: Goalkeepers Blair Currie and Cammy Binnie are both out injured so Nicky Hogarth, on loan from Rangers, is set to make his debut and we are likely to have a trialist on the bench. Midfielder Kevin Nicoll returns after a one-match ban but left-back Jordan Lowdon is a long-term absentee.

Opponents: Cove Rangers are two points clear of Edinburgh City at the top of the table and have won their last four matches. Paul Hartley’s side have a 100% home record but have lost three times on their travels. Mitch Megginson is the leading scorer in League 2 with 15 goals.

Past meetings: Cove were 2-1 winners at Forthbank in August and came out on top 1-0 at Balmoral Stadium in November thanks to a late penalty.
