We welcome Albion Rovers to Forthbank on Saturday, with just one point separating the sides in Ladbrokes League 2.

Team news: Dylan Mackin returned to the squad in midweek but top scorer Josh Peters faces another couple of weeks out and the game also comes too soon for Dylan Bikey. Defenders Jordan Lowdon, Gareth Rodger and Craig Truesdale are all still sidelined.

Stirling Albion: Tuesday’s stalemate with Cowdenbeath was our fourth draw in a row and lifted us off the foot of the table on goal difference. We have the second-best defensive record in League 2 but have scored only five goals in 10 games.

Albion Rovers: Kevin Harper’s side are one point ahead of Stirling Albion in the League 2 table. They lost 3-0 to leaders Cove Rangers in midweek but beat Fort William 5-0 in the Scottish Cup last week.

Past meetings: We lost 2-1 at the end of August when Kevin Nicoll and Paul McLean were both sent off. There were two wins apiece last season, with Rovers winning 1-0 on their last Forthbank visit in March.
