Stirling Albion make a first visit to St Mirren’s Simple Digital Arena on Saturday to play the Paisley club’s Colt Team in round three of the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup.

Team news: Midfielder Kevin Nicoll begins a two-match ban but defender Paul McLean – who was also sent off at Albion Rovers last week – is available and will miss the Elgin game next week. Ross McGeachie remains an injury doubt and Gareth Rodger is out but Jordan McGregor is close to a return.

Story so far: We beat East Fife 2-0 at Bayview in round two thanks to goals from Darryl Duffy and Josh Peters. St Mirren Colts defeated East Kilbride 1-0 in round one then Allan McManus’ team were 1-0 winners away to Dumbarton in the last round.

Colt Teams: Effectively U21 sides (players born on or after 1.1.99) but two players of any age are permitted in the team.

In the event of a draw: It’s straight to penalties if the scores are level after 90 minutes

Round four: The draw will be made on Tuesday September 10 at 12.30pm and will be shown live on the SPFL YouTube channel.

Referee: Euan Anderson

Admission: Adults £10, Concessions £5, U12s free

Stadium: Only the main stand will be open for this game

Travel: If going by train the stop you want is Paisley St James. It’s then a two-minute walk to the ground
