Scott signed in July 2009 from Queen of the South. Assistant manager John O'Neill knew of Scott from his days at Palmerston and when Scott became availble the Albion stepped in to gain his signature. Scott came through the youth system at QOS and made his first team debut for the Doonhammers in the mid 2000's. he failed to make a full breakthrough into the first team. Scott has played regularly in the central midfield role for the Albion so far this season and grabbed his first goal for the club and first in senior football against Stenhousemuir in the Challenge Cup.
