Stirling Albion's unbeaten run was extended to nine matches on Saturday with a 3-2 win against Alloa Athletic in an exciting match at Recreation Park. The three points against our local rivals moves The Binos back within one point of the promotion play off places.

Stirling trailed 1-0 at half time but were level nine minutes into the second half when David McKenna slotted home from the spot after Ross Forsyth was blocked.

Martin Grehan put Stirling in front with a well taken finish four minutes later. Alloa responded quickly though with an equaliser before David McKenna finished off an excellent Stirling move to send the Albion faithful the short distance back home with a win against our near neighbours.
