My first Albion game was a pre-season friendly vs Dundee Utd in 1980, and despite having a school allegiance to Aberdeen (well, it was the mid 80's), I have been a home and away fan since around 1987. My favourite player is Willie Watters, unbelievable skill on the ball. My favourite all time team would be:

  1. McGeown
  2. A. Paterson
  3. P. Deas
  4. T. Tait
  5. D. Steedman
  6. G. Paterson
  7. J. Colquhoun
  8. V. Moore
  9. W. Watters
  10. C. Taggart
  11. A. Bone

My best home game has to be the 6-2 trouncing of Killie,  the cup game vs Hibs was good as well.... Best away game, well, there are three... the 3-3 at St Johnstone, the 2-3 defeat at Ibrox, and the 96 promotion clincher at Montrose... aaah, the best of times.

My most exciting match? The full time whistle at Forthbank on the night we beat Killie 6-2, also in the pub after the game, when we had the match report up till closing time on Teletext... nearly wore the TV out.

John Brogan, for his honesty and his appreciation of the supporters, would be my best manager.

Could I do any worse as manager? Seriously, anyone brave enough to be a football manager of a small provincial club with a partisan support and no money deserves any success they can get. Of course, I'd take this team to European Glory (on the PlayStation)

Following Stirling Albion throughout the years has been fantastic. The social element won't ever be matched, and although the football is rubbish 90% of the time, it's that other 10% that keeps you coming back... as they say in the advert... maybe, just maybe.
