Year first supported Stirling Albion - 2009

Not sure I really have the right to be here at all to be honest. Each year I travel through Stirling with my family for a holiday in the north and have always found it a warm welcoming place. This year saw the signs for 'Buy Stirling Albion', came to the website and found it to be the home of real passionate grass roots supporters.

Living in England constantly bombarded with the prima donnas of the Premiership and heartily sick of it all it was really refreshing to discover pride in a team for the sake of that team and not because its chasing yet more European glory. Impressed too with the buy out plan and hope to contribute when circumstances allow.

If you'll allow an Englishman, albeit one of Scots decent, to join you all I'd be proud to do so.
