We make our first visit to Balmoral Stadium, home of Cove Rangers, on Saturday looking to continue our improved run of form.

Kevin Rutkiewicz: “It was a dominant display against Albion Rovers last week and we could have won by more. Cove are the best team in the league but we are building momentum with seven games undefeated and we want to keep that going.”

Team news: Joint-top scorer Josh Peters is still sidelined, as are defenders Gareth Rodger, Jordan Lowdon and Craig Truesdale. The game is likely to come too soon for forward Dylan Bikey but left-back James Creaney should be available after missing last week’s 3-0 win over Albion Rovers.

Opponents: Paul Hartley’s side beat Cowdenbeath 3-1 at Central Park last week, helped by a Fraser Aird double, to stay three points clear of Edinburgh City at the top. The SPFL newcomers have won all five home games so far, scoring 17 goals in the process.

Past meetings: Cove were deserved 2-1 winners at Forthank in August thanks to goals from Fraser Fyvie and Matty Smith. Josh Peters pulled one back.

Referee: Grant Irvine

Balmoral Stadium: Opened in summer 2018. The address is Wellington Circle, Aberdeen, AB12 3JG. You can view on a map HERE
