Chairman’s Charity Climb For The Gambinos
Sunday 1st September 2019, 11.00am – Pendreich Forest Car Park, Stirling

As many of you may already know, Stirling Albion FC has a long association with a Club in Gambia called “The Gambinos”. The Gambinos are very reliant on donations from generous fans of SAFC to help them run their club and keep a much needed and loved community asset alive. They even play their matches in Stirling Albion strips!

Our chairman has decided to support this worthy cause by climbing Dumyat with his entire family, ages 1-67. The route will be from Pendreich Forest Car Park to Dumyat Peak and back. He would like to encourage you to join him for this climb and bring along family members, dogs etc*.

You don’t need to be a Bino to participate! Don’t worry if hill climbing is not for you, you can still be an essential part of this event by sponsoring our chairman via our Go Fund Me page at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-gambinos-fc

Or signing the sponsor sheet of someone who is going to participate. We have attached a sponsor form and a poster with more details of the event for you to use.

It would be great if climbers wore SAFC colours, but this is obviously not essential. All sponsorship funds should be labelled as such in an envelope and handed in to the SAFC Club Office on Tues or Thurs 2pm-7pm or on a home match day before 2.30pm.

It might be a good idea to car share with other climbers if possible as parking will be limited.

Thank you in advance for your support of this event and we hope to see you all on 1st September!

Come on The Gambinos!!

Kind Regards
Gambinos Fundraising Committee

* Climbers participate at their own risk. Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult. SAFC takes no responsibility for property damage or injury sustained during the climb. All dogs should be on a lead at all times.
